Gyeonggi Provincial Children’s Museum is an exciting ‘experience gathering place’. It is the first experiential museum built as an independent building for children in Korea. The three-story building is decorated with nine major experience and exhibition spaces. ‘Han River and Water’ ‘How are our bodies?’ You can experience the importance of your body and the environment by satisfying your curiosity and learning the importance of your body and environment in the ‘Strong Playground’ and ‘Finding Treasures in Fairy Tales’. Various programs such as becoming a firefighter and making recycled toys are also included. Art works throughout the museum add warmth. Yongin, Gyeonggi-do, has a variety of exhibition and experience spaces. The Wood Culture Experience Center in Yongin Natural Recreation Forest is a place where you can enjoy woodworking in earnest. Encountering contemporary art at the Nam June Paik Art Center or experiencing traditional games at the Korean Folk Village around New Year’s Day are good family outings.
