Yangju Maenggol Village, a pleasant experience in a village where the fragrance of plum blossoms was scattered

Yangju Maenggol Village is a small village located at the southern foot of Gamaksan Mountain. It is a remote place where you can see North Korea’s Kaesong when you climb Gamaksan Mountain, but the village is always full of energy. This is because it operates a variety of experience programs that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, including art, oil processing, and Korean paper and cloisonne crafts. There is also Baek Su-hyeon House in Yangju, which preserves the history of the village, making it a perfect family trip or vacation spot. Yangju Gwanaji is a place that represents the history of Yangju. Eosadaebi, Yangju Hyanggyo, and Yangju Byeolsandaenori Exhibition Hall are located nearby. Hoeamsa Temple Site, the largest royal temple in the Joseon Dynasty, Hoeamsa Temple Site Museum, and the Lighting Museum, where you can experience the past, present, and future of light, are also worth visiting.
