Yangju City, along with the Ground Operations Command, will hold a three-day event called ‘Yangju 2024! ‘Dronebot Festival’ will be held. This event begins with a congratulatory flight of the Army Air Corps helicopter, demonstration of the ArmyTIGER dronebot combat system, Yangju Mayor and Ground Operations Command dronebot contests, Taekwondo and special forces martial arts demonstrations, honor guard and military band performances, special forces high-altitude descent demonstrations, military equipment boarding experience, etc. A variety of attractions will unfold. During the event, there will be an exhibition and boarding experience of military combat equipment such as the latest tanks, self-propelled artillery, armored vehicles, drones, and UAVs that provide a glimpse into the next-generation weapon system, and drones, robots, and simulators of private companies that provide a glimpse into the future vision of the 4th industrial revolution. Cutting-edge products and solutions will be on display. The end time of the event varies depending on the date, so please note that the closing time is 18:00 on May 24th, 20:00 on the 25th, and 16:00 on the 26th. Due to the nature of the military base’s open event, visitors wishing to visit the event site must bring their individual ID card. Preschool children without children must be accompanied by a guardian to enter the event venue.
