Simhaksan Mountain in Paju is a convenient and quick sunrise hiking destination. At 194m above sea level, 30 minutes is sufficient from climbing to watching the sunrise. The cool view from the top is also excellent. You can overlook not only Seoul, Goyang, Paju, and Gimpo, but also the scenery where the Imjin River and the Han River meet. There is a gentle hiking trail that you can walk up comfortably as if you were taking a walk, so families with children can enjoy the sunrise comfortably. There are many things to enjoy nearby after hiking at sunrise. Walking around the Simhak Mountainside, and admiring the modern architecture of the Paju Book Complex located at the foot of the mountain, and so on. A short distance away is the Unification Observatory, where you can see the land of North Korea up close, and Heyri, where you can enjoy a variety of fun even in the middle of winter.
