Bupyeong Kkangtong Night Market opened as the first permanent night market in 2013, and is the main character that caused a craze for night markets nationwide. Along with Gukje Market and Jagalchi Market, you enter the 110m alley of Bupyeong Kkangtong Market, one of the three major markets in Busan, every day. The heat of the night market, which started at 7:30 p.m. with about 30 mobile vendors entering, continues until midnight. As the first permanent night market in Korea, food is also diverse. A wide variety of foods such as sirloin steak cut into bite-sized pieces of grilled beef, paneer soup with warm soup in bread, instant beef fire sushi cooked with a blowtorch upon ordering, and grilled scallops topped with savory mozzarella, etc., stimulate the eyes and nose. There are various food stores and Bupyeong-dong Jokbal Alley nearby. It is easy to get to from Jagalchi Station on Busan Subway Line 1, and Gukje Market, Bosu-dong Bookstore Alley, and Gamcheon Culture Village are within easy reach. Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, Dongbaek Park, and Samjin Fish Cake Experience/History Museum are also good to visit.
