The Taebaek Sunflower Festival is a purely private-sector-led festival hosted and organized by the Sunflower Cultural Foundation and the Guwau Village Festival Committee. Our foundation and the Guwau Sunflower Village have a clear direction in which they want to go: since there is no work of art better than nature, we want to wisely use nature to paint the yellow of sunflowers on the canvas of the earth and add the human acts of artists to create this Guwau Village together with you as a healthy space, a natural place, a place you want to visit, and a one-of-a-kind space.
