Yangjae Flower Market in Seoul is divided into a flower market and F Square. Opened in 1991, the Flower Market is the largest legal wholesale market in the country and is full of bright colors in spring. From yellow freesia to red tulips to mysterious blue carnations, it is a pleasure to see. The branch store is in the form of a greenhouse, so it is perfect for a spring outing with friends or family. Potted daffodils, geraniums, and hydrangeas, as well as houseplants, succulents, orchids, and landscape trees are sold. Opened in 2019, F Square is a complex cultural space that promotes the new value of flowers. It operated flower lessons and gardening treatment programs, but is currently closed to prevent the spread of COVID-19. If you walk about 10 minutes from Yangjae Flower Market, you will find Yangjaecheon Promenade. From late March to early April, the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, giving off the scent of spring. Yangjae Flower Market and the neighboring Civic Forest are also in full bloom in spring. Along with the lush forest, it is equipped with convenient facilities such as a lawn square, fountain, children’s playground, and barbecue area. The Memorial Hall of Maeheon Yoon Bong-gil, which was built with donations from the people, makes you feel solemn from the moment you enter the statue of a doctor sitting with the national flag in the background. If you visit Yangjaecheon Cherry Blossom Road, let’s stop by Cafe Street, which is considered a hot place.
