Sinsimodo, located in Bukdo-myeon, Ongjin-gun, Incheon, is an island that is easy to access from the metropolitan area. Baemikkumi Sculpture Park is located in Sinsimodo, where Shinto, Shido, and Modo are connected by a bridge. Around 80 surrealist works by sculptor Lee Il-ho, which embody love, pain, life and death, are freely displayed here. Since the work is located on the seashore, it approaches with different emotions depending on the height and tide of the waves. At high tide, the sculpture outside the fence of the park, ‘Budul Sensei’, is submerged in water and creates the illusion that it is floating in the sea. Here, the taste of appreciating the artwork while listening to the sound of the rolling waves is unique. The front yard of the park is a tidal flat, the ceiling is blue sky, and sometimes planes fly over the sea. Travelers freely look around the park, imagining the artist’s intention in creating the work. The cafe that blends with the artwork is suitable for enjoying a cup of tea leisurely, and also serves as an accommodation. Park Ju-gi is popular in Modo. It is named after the land resembles a bat, and a red sculpture with the word ‘Modo’ written on it is installed on the beach, making it a popular photo spot. In Sido, don’t miss Sugi Beach, which has excellent scenery. As a filming location for the drama
