Myohyeonrye (廟見禮) is a ceremony in which the queen or crown prince attends Jongmyo Shrine where the ancestral tablets of successive kings and queens of the Joseon Dynasty are enshrined after the royal wedding ceremony. The meaning is very deep.
In 「2023 Jongmyo Myohyeonrye」, the Myohyeonrye of Queen Inwon, which was performed in 1703, is reconstructed and presented to the audience as a new performance content that combines creative drama and ritual reproduction. In full spring, we invite you to a meaningful royal event.
