Sokcho in Gangwon-do has always been a popular spot for school trips. Since it is a town facing the East Sea with Mt. Seorak, I wonder if there is another place more suitable for school trips. Even in Sokcho, Seoraksan Rock is a regular school trip destination. Someone did. The power of travel comes from sharing memories. A school trip with friends during school days is bound to be more clearly imprinted in my heart than any other trip. Decades have passed, but this is why the road to rock rock is still thrilling. Rock Rock is located on Wauam Rock in front of Gyejoam Rock, which is located at the foot of Seoraksan Mountain. It is wide enough for 100 people to dine together, and it is the end of the rock, also called Dining Rock. It is quite impressive to see a round rock like a ball standing precariously at the edge of a cliff. The reason why Rocking Rock is famous is because of this scene where it looks as if it will roll off even if you touch it. Gwongeumseong Fortress, which can be reached in 5 minutes by cable car, is a place full of memories of school trips as much as Rocking Rock. Gwongeumseong Fortress, also called Seoraksanseong Fortress, is located at the top of the Hwachae Ridge at an altitude of 800m extending north from Daecheongbong Peak in Seoraksan Mountain. It is also a good place to visit Abai Village, which was formed when refugees from Hamgyeong-do during the Korean War settled down, and Sokcho Beach, which is home to Sokcho Child, Korea’s first beach ferris wheel.
