Jeongdong-gil, which leads along Jeongdong-gil to the Kyunghyang Shinmun, is one of the best places to take a walk in Seoul. In the vicinity, there are many historic buildings that penetrate our history from the enlightenment period to the early modern period, such as Deoksugung Palace, the former Russian Legation, Jungmyeongjeon Hall, and Jeongdong Church. In addition, now, a century later, it is reborn as a cultural street with Jeongdong Theater, Ewha Girls’ High School 100th Anniversary Hall, and Seoul Museum of Art, leaving behind the traces of history. Deoksugung Stonewall Road is only about 1.5 km long, but it is considered the most romantic road in Seoul. Deoksugung Stonewall Road and Jeongdong-gil always have lovers walking affectionately. The road from Deoksugung Palace Stonewall Road to Jeongdong Theater – Ewha Girls’ High School – Gyeonggyojang is special even in Seoul. In addition, the Jeong-dong area is an excellent course for exploring history with children.
