National Geoparks promote regional economic development by utilizing geoscientifically important and high-preservation geological attractions as educational and tourism resources. The Hantangang Geopark tour tours the geological attractions scattered in the Hantan River, Imjin River, and Chatan Stream. It is a time travel to find the eternal traces left by the volcano, and a journey to meet the hidden treasures of the Hantan River. There are 20 related attractions belonging to Yeoncheon-gun and Pocheon-si, and some are difficult to get to, so we selected places with good accessibility and meaning as tourist resources. Among the Hantangang River Geoparks, Yeoncheon-gun includes Dangposeong, Imjingang Columnar Joints, Jeongokri Soil Exhibition Hall, Jwasangbawi Rock, and Jaein Falls. If you leave it out here, we will introduce the Jeongok Prehistory Museum, Godaesan Natural Recreation Forest, and Sanjeong Lake.
