Celebrating the victory of ‘Haengju Daecheop’, one of the three great battles of the Imjin War, inheriting the spirit of victory of the patriotic martyrs who won through the voluntary participation and sacrifice of Wonsu Kwon Yul (1537-1599) and the people. It is a historical and cultural festival that reinterprets it in a modern way.
Every spring in May, Haengjusanseong Fortress, the historical site of the Battle of Haengju, and Haengjusanseong Historical Park with a beautiful view of the Han River, the Haengju Battle Catapult (National Bacter Triage Contest), a fireworks drone show, water fireworks, and musicals on the water of the Han River Representative programs such as the Battle of Haengju, programs inheriting traditions such as Koyurye and Gilnori, and other various performances, exhibitions, experiences, and participation programs allow you to escape from everyday life and experience new historical and cultural experiences.
