Goseokjeong in Cheorwon, one of the 10 sights of the Civilian Control Line, was the stage for the activities of bandit Lim Kkeok-jeong. It is said that while hiding in Goseokjeong and the Hantan River area, he punished the corrupt officials, stole the riches of the high officials, and distributed them to the people. The legend that he transformed into a kkokji and roamed in the water somehow goes well with the unexplored scenery of Goseokjeong. Goseokjeong Pavilion is the best attraction of the Hantangang River and the starting point of the Iron Triangle Battlefield security tour. If you enter the civilian control zone (Civilian Control Line) accompanied by a cultural commentator, you can tour the Cheorwon Peace Observatory, Cheorwon Crane Museum, and Woljeong-ri Station. It is fun to walk on the green road of Soisan Ecological Forest, which was opened for the first time in 60 years, and a red rafting boat passes under the Seungil Bridge, which was built in half by the north and the south. Songdaeso, Jiktang Falls, and Sundam Valley created by the Hantangang River are also beautiful. Along the river, the Hantangang Ecological Circulation Trail, which is easy to walk in the east, and the Hannyeoul Road, which can be enjoyed by bicycle in the west, have been created.
