The Geumneung Wondam Festival is Jeju’s representative local festival, and is now in its 15th year. In order to shed new light on and promote the precious Geumneung Wondam that will be passed down to future generations, there are various experiences prepared, such as Wondam interpretation programs, catching fish with bare hands in Wondam, catching fish in a small Wondam, and experiencing advanced fishing nets that recreate advanced fishing methods. Various performances are also prepared, and traditional foods that can only be tasted in Jeju, such as fried gingi, are prepared at Geumneung-ri Hyangtong Restaurant.
