Saenggwabang, located in the Sojubang hall of Gyeongbokgung Palace, is one of the six royal palaces. It was also called the living room as it was the place where desserts and special meals for the king and queen were prepared. The Gyeongbokgung Palace Saenggwabang Program is a paid experience program designed to allow people to enjoy the royal curry and royal herbal tea that actual kings ate, based on the contents of the Annals of the Joseon Dynasty, even today.
