Gudun Station, located in Ilsin-ri, Jipyeong-myeon, Yangpyeong-gun, is a place where nearly 80 years of history are buried. Gudun Station’s friends are a ginkgo tree with deep wrinkles like a retired old soldier, a locomotive with a cold engine and a passenger car, and a dog roaming in front of the station. Gudun Station stood in the field with traces of a simple station and a nameplate for the abandoned station. Opened in 1940, this station was closed in 2012 as the previous route was changed due to the Cheongnyangni-Wonju central line double-track project. Gudun Station’s faded history, plaza, railroad, and platform have been designated as Registered Cultural Property No. 296. All the traffic lines that enter through the creaky waiting room door and wander around the platform and railroad are connected to the act of groping for modern culture. Gudun Station became the background of the affectionate first love in the movie
