Day One:
9:00 AM – Check into your hotel. We recommend Grand Hotel, located in the bustling Seomyeon district, which is filled with shops and restaurants.
10:00 AM – Start your day by visiting Nampodong Street, which is filled with traditional markets selling Korean souvenirs, clothing, and cosmetics. The closest subway station is Nampo Station, which is a 10-minute walk away.
12:00 PM – Lunch at Haeundae Market, where you can try some of Busan’s most famous seafood dishes. Take Busan Subway Line 2 to Haeundae Station and walk for 10 minutes.
2:00 PM – Visit Centum City, the largest shopping and entertainment complex in Busan. From Haeundae Market, take Busan Subway Line 2 to Centum City Station – this will take around 20 minutes. Here, you can browse the numerous luxury boutiques, outlets, and flagship stores.
6:00 PM – Head back to the Seomyeon district, where you can try some street food and go shopping. The area is well-known for its cheap souvenirs, clothing shops, and nightlife. We recommend taking the subway back – it’s quicker and cheaper than taking a taxi.
Day Two:
9:00 AM – Start your day by visiting the Gamcheon Cultural Village, a whimsical village filled with art installations and colorful houses. From Seomyeon Station, take Busan Subway Line 1 to Toseong Station and transfer to Busan Subway Line 1. Get off at Goejeong Station and take bus 2 or 2-2 to Gamcheon Cultural Village.
12:00 PM – Have lunch at Jagalchi Market, Busan’s largest seafood market. From Gamcheon Cultural Village, take bus 2 or 2-2 to Toseong Station and transfer to Busan Subway Line 1. Get off at Jagalchi Station – this will take around 30 minutes.
2:00 PM – Visit Shinsegae Centum City, the world’s largest department store. From Jagalchi Market, take Busan Subway Line 1 to Seomyeon Station and transfer to Busan Subway Line 2. Get off at Centum City Station – this will take around 1 hour in total.
6:00 PM – Head back to Seomyeon and explore the various bars and restaurants in the area.
Day Three:
9:00 AM – Start your day by visiting Gukje Market, one of Busan’s oldest markets. You can buy a variety of goods here, from traditional Korean clothing to international snacks. From Seomyeon Station, take Busan Subway Line 1 to Jagalchi Station.
12:00 PM – Have lunch at BIFF Square, a street filled with shops, restaurants, and street performers. From Gukje Market, take Busan Subway Line 1 to Jagalchi Station then walk west for 5 minutes.
2:00 PM – Visit Lotte Department Store, which is known for its luxury brands and duty-free shopping. From BIFF Square, take Busan Subway Line 1 to Seomyeon Station and transfer to Busan Subway Line 2. Get off at Seomyeon Station, then go up to Exit 12 and you will find Lotte Department Store.
6:00 PM – Head back to Seomyeon and explore the various bars and restaurants in the area.
