Dutayeon, Yanggu, is a deep, green valley where water flows down from Mt. Geumgang. After the Korean War, entry was prohibited, but in 2004, after 50 years, the gate was opened to civilians, making it an ecological tourist destination where nature is alive. It is a habitat for endangered wildlife grade 2 wild fish and a clean area where endangered wildlife grade 1 goats play. If you go 3.6 km further from Dutayeon, you will see a signpost for the road to Mt. Geumgang. It is only 32km to Mt. Geumgang, a distance that can be reached on foot in a day. Imagine walking along this road all the way to Naegeumgang Jangansa Temple.
