The ‘Royal Court Culture Festival’ is Korea’s largest cultural heritage festival, held against the backdrop of Korea’s representative cultural heritages: Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace, Deoksugung Palace, Changgyeonggung Palace, Gyeonghuigung Palace, Jongmyo Shrine, and Sajikdan Altar. The Palace Culture Festival, which was officially held in 2015 after a pilot project in 2014, presents cultural and artistic programs such as performances, exhibitions, experiences, and ceremonies that make use of the location and history of each palace every year under the slogan of Meet the Palace today. . Since 2020, the festival space has been expanded outside the palace to release non-face-to-face and online specialized content together, and the offline event period has been expanded from 2021 to the ‘Spring Court Culture Festival’ in May and the ‘Autumn Court Culture Festival’ in October every year. Twice a year, it presents a special time to visitors.
