Kim Yu-jeong Literature Village, which is a 10-minute walk from Kim Yu-jeong Station on the Gyeongchun Line in the metropolitan area, is a literary village created in the hometown of novelist Kim Yu-jeong, who wrote 〈Spring.Spring〉 and 〈Camellia Flower〉. Centered around the birthplace of Kim Yu-jeong, the Kim Yu-jeong Memorial Exhibition Hall, where you can see his life and literature, and the Kim Yu-jeong Storybook, equipped with various multimedia facilities, have been established. A cultural commentator tells interesting stories seven times a day (six times from November to February) on the veranda in the courtyard of the birthplace where you can see the square sky. In fact, many of Kim Yoo-jung’s works were written in the background of Sile Village. Thanks to this, there are 16 real story trails in Kim Yu-jeong Literature Village that are interesting just by hearing their names, such as ‘The Camellia Forest Road where Jeomsoon seduced me’, ‘The Hill where Bokman wrote a contract and sold his wife’, and ‘The Sigh Road where Geun-shik stole a pot from his house’. It unfolds. There are many other attractions near the Kim Yu-jeong Literary Village. The old Kim Yu-jeong Station, which was renamed Shinnam Station on the Gyeongchun Line, is a SNS spot full of vintage vibes. The Soyanggang Skywalk, where you can walk on the blue river, and the Gubongsan Observatory Café Street, where you can see the city of Chuncheon at a glance, are not to be missed. If you are with children, do not miss the Chuncheon Dream Children’s Park. It is an indoor and outdoor kids park, operated by Chuncheon City, and the price is reasonable.
