Children’s treasure island, Chuncheon Animation Museum

If you want fun, learning, and catching two rabbits in the cold winter, let’s go to the Animation Museum in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do. It is a place that fosters imagination and arouses interest in animation, and has various experience facilities. As you enter the camera lens, you begin your tour of the museum. You can view animation-related materials such as early animation works, posters, shooting cameras and projectors, and enjoy special experiences. Foley artist experience to create sound, pin screen experience to experience animation techniques with the body, and dubbing experience to put one’s voice on animation are popular. Let’s also stop by the Toy Robot Museum next door. It is a place where you can operate various robots, and anyone will fall in love with robots. Don’t miss the robot dance performed seven times a day from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm. The admission fee is 6,000 won each for the Animation Museum and Toy Robot Museum, and 10,000 won for the combined ticket (applied from January 2, 2020). Viewing hours are from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, closed on Mondays and January 1st. The romantic alley in Hyoja Village is full of cute murals. At Chuncheon Romantic Market, try the market-branded snacks and look for interesting pictures everywhere. If you want to feel the charm of quiet Chuncheon, we recommend the Lee Sang-won Museum of Art. The space where nature and art harmonize is impressive.
