An alley with an interesting story of 600 years of history

It is recommended to walk evenly along Bukchon Hanok Village Road, Samcheong-dong Road, and Insa-dong Road in Jongno-gu to properly understand the 600 years of history, culture, and people’s fragrance from the Joseon Dynasty’s establishment of Hanyang as its capital. These neighborhoods, with many alleys stretching in all directions, are all concentrated around the subway Anguk Station, so you can take a look at them in a day or so. Bukchon is a traditional residential area located between Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace, and Jongmyo Shrine. Samcheongdong-gil refers to the road from Dongsipjagak to Samcheong Park. Insadong-gil is a road from the Jongno 2-ga rotary to the Anguk-dong five-way intersection. Art galleries, antique shops, street vendors, cafes, and delicacies are lined up. These roads are also popular travel spots for foreign tourists.
