The season of camping, when campers’ buttocks are shaking, has arrived. The northern part of Yangpyeong is a forest paradise surrounded by Mt. Yumyeong, Mt. Jungmi, and Mt. Yongmun. Soltteul Camping Site in Sinbok-ri, Okcheon-myeon is located in the middle of these mountains and forests. Just like the name ‘Sol Garden’, beautiful pine trees are neatly planted throughout the camping site. It is a familiar scene here to see campers setting up hammocks on pine trees and enjoying a nap. The campground yard, which can accommodate 100 tents, is divided into an upper yard, front yard, lower yard, and side yard. It is close to the metropolitan area and has convenient facilities such as a water park, so it is popular with family campers who prefer a quiet camping experience. It is also tasteful to use the camping site as a base camp and meet the greenery in the nearby forest and riverside. Jungmisan Recreational Forest and Yongmunsan Sanasa are within 10 minutes by car. The wild flower arboretum and semi-won along the Han River also make summer outings in Yangpyeong more splendid.
