Romijian Garden, located in Jeongseon, Gangwon-do, is a special garden tended by the husband himself for his beloved wife. It took 10 years because she cherished every tree and every stone as much as her wife. The landmark ‘Gasibushi Castle’ catches the eye with words about love and trust, just like the name of the married couple in pure Korean, Gasiboshi. The ‘Begonia House’, where you can appreciate begonias all year round, also adds to the sights. There are various spaces where the enlightenment felt while decorating the garden, such as the ‘Prana Tower’ and the ‘Red Magnetic Hill’, was released. There is also a program to meditate at the ‘Geumgang Song Forest Park’ with experts. There is a cafe that reminds you of a mountain lodge in Europe, a Japanese restaurant that boasts local recipes, and an inn with a great view, so it’s good to take a leisurely walk and rest. Romijian Garden is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (closed on holidays), and the admission fee is 15,000 won for adults and 7,000 won for teenagers. Near Romijian Garden, there is Najeon Station, which is operated as a train station and cafe. The photo zone, which preserves the simple station scenery of memories, is friendly. Known as the birthplace of ‘Jeongseon Arirang,’ Auraji got its name because the streams of Songcheon and Goljicheon harmonize together. Donggang View Natural Recreation Forest, which has a reputation as a camping site with a beautiful view, presents a unique night as if sleeping on a cloud.
