The bookshelves with the works of Daegu writers are also special. The spinning wheel bookstore is open from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, but there are not a few days when the lights are lit in the evening. This is because various cultural events are held every month, such as movie screenings, concerts, and meetings with authors. In Suseong-gu, where the spinning wheel bookstore is located, there is Suseongmot Lake, which is famous as a date course. This place, which is quiet on weekdays, transforms into an exciting busking spot on weekends, and Sanghwa Garden and Poetry Street have been created to honor poet Lee Sang-hwa, who wrote “Does spring come in stolen fields?” At Deulangil Food Town in front of Suseongmot Lake, you can taste the representative food of Daegu.
