Spring day energy recharging trip, Busan Haeundae Blue Line Park and Peace Park

Local people
Dalmaji-gil 62beon-gil, Haeundae-gu, Busan (Haeundae Blue Line Park Mipo Station) / Daeyeon-dong, Nam-gu (Peace Park)

Haeundae Blue Line Park is a tourist facility using the old Donghae Nambu Line railroad, and is the most popular experience in Busan these days. It entered the Mipo-Songjeong section, which was famous for its scenic railroad, and operates a beach train and sky capsule. The beach train covers the entire section between Mipo and Songjeong (4.8km), and the Sky Capsule, which can accommodate up to 4 people, runs between Mipo and Cheongsapo (2km). The beach train runs on existing railroad tracks, and the sky capsule runs on aerial rails that are higher than the railroad tracks. Pyeonghwa Park in Nam-gu is a favorite family outing spot for locals. In commemoration of the 2005 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit, it was created next to the United Nations Memorial Park in Korea (a nationally registered cultural property), the only United Nations memorial cemetery in the world. Peace-themed sculptures harmonize with the fresh nature. In the Daeyeon Tree Exhibition Garden, which is directly connected to Pyeonghwa Park, colorful trees create a different landscape depending on the season. The National Museum of Forced Mobilization under Japanese Occupation, which publicizes the reality of forced mobilization during the Japanese colonial period and promotes historical awareness, is also located in Nam-gu. Haridan-gil, located behind the old Haeundae Train Station, is filled with sensuous shops renovated from old houses to complete a special sensibility.
