When it comes to summer vacation or summer resorts, the first thing that comes to mind is the sea. However, Gapyeong-gun has mountains, rivers, and valleys, making it an inland summer resort. Among them, Jeokmo Yongso and Mujuchae Falls are relatively hidden travel destinations located at the northern end of Gapyeong. First of all, the clear pond surrounded by trees and rocks refreshes the mind of the viewer. Mujuchae Waterfall, which is about 1km away from Jeokmok Yongso, enchants you from the way you go. The scenery of the dark forest and the charming valley keeps stopping my steps. Mujuchae Waterfall is the peak, and it is good to stay under the waterfall and take a leisurely rest. It is worth washing your hands and feet in the cold valley water and listening to the song of the forest in silence. There is also Gangsibong Natural Recreation Forest in Buk-myeon, Gapyeong-gun. It is perfect for connecting the refreshing energy of the waterfall. Jomurak Valley is also not far. Jarasum Summer Palace has been refurbished as Summer Palace Butterfly Story, and you can see the metamorphosis process of butterflies, so it is suitable to visit with children who are on vacation.
