Hangwa is our traditional snack. There are many types such as Yugwa, Yakgwa, Jeonggwa, and Dasik, and the taste is also diverse. Master Kim Kyu-heun is a nationally designated traditional Korean snack maker who has dedicated his life to making Korean snacks, and is Korea’s No. 1 master of traditional Korean snacks (medicine field). Since we remember the sweetness of Korean traditional sweets we ate in our childhood, we make Korean traditional sweets honestly and strive to popularize them. He developed new medicines such as lotus-shaped and lozenge shapes by changing the shape of traditional Korean snacks, and opened the Korean Food Culture Museum to spread Korean snacks to the world. Hangawon displays the process of making Korean snacks and tools, as well as experiences in making Korean snacks. Sanjeong Lake is a place where Kim Il-sung prepared a villa and enjoyed the scenery, so the autumn scenery is outstanding. You can feel the politics of the lake filled with red leaves while walking along the Dulle-gil. Herb Island is a paradise full of sweet herbal scents. At The Park Africa Museum near the Korea National Arboretum, you can see the life and culture of Africans, as well as traditional African folk dances performed twice a day.
