The royal tombs of the Joseon Dynasty have a history spanning 500 years of the Joseon Dynasty. It is a noble cultural heritage listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site because it has been preserved intact without being damaged or destroyed to the extent that it is difficult to find a precedent in the world. Guri Donggureung (Historic Site No. 193) has the largest collection of nine tombs among the royal tombs of the Joseon Dynasty. The surrounding forest is dense and the natural ecology is well preserved, making it a perfect place for a walk or rest. Achasan, which overlooks downtown Seoul and Gyeonggi-do, is a great place to hike with your family. At the beginning of the hiking trail, there is the Goguryeo Blacksmith Village where the drama was filmed, the Achasan Mountain Goguryeo Relics Exhibition Hall, and the Goguryeo military facility Achasan Area Fortification (Historic Site No. 455) on the ridge, making it a course that combines hiking and exploring the ruins. Guri Tower, Guri Insect Ecology Center, and New & Renewable Energy Exhibition Hall are located in the Guri Resource Recovery Facility, making it a good place to tour together.
