Jongno-gu has served as the center of Seoul since the founding of the Joseon Dynasty. It has five palaces and Jongmyo Shrine as traditional cultural heritage, and Bukchon Hanok Village as a 21st century tourist attraction, making it a special cultural zone comparable to any other in the world. Of course, there are also many museums where you can look at history, tradition and culture. There are a total of 100 museums in Seoul, and about 40 are gathered in Jongno-gu. These museums are also loved by citizens because they are located in the center between Gyeongbokgung Palace and Daehangno, and are easily accessible by public transportation such as subway or bus. In December, when winter begins, families who are burdened with long-distance travel due to the cold weather, or parents with children in elementary school, should intensively explore the unique museums in Jongno-gu. If you go to the museum, you can discover the wisdom of life.
