Relaxing autumn while looking at the Hongcheon River, Hongcheon Mogok Bambeol Recreation Area

Hongcheon Mogok Bambeol Amusement Park is a place where you can enjoy water play and fishing as well as camping. All you have to do is enter the campsite along the river, pitch your tent and set up your equipment. The ground is sand and gravel, and up to 300 tents can be installed. The biggest attraction of this place is the Hongcheongang River that flows in front of the campsite. Freshwater fish such as kkeokji, which live in first-class water, minnows, and sand muji are abundant, and you can also try trolley fishing. Also, if you look at the scenery created by the mist rising over the river at dawn, there is no other landscape painting. The view of the Hongcheon River, seen from the tent early in the morning, lighting a bonfire and drinking a cup of coffee, makes you feel the true beauty of camping. Mogok Bambeol Amusement Park is a natural place and there is no management body, so there are no usage hours or fees. If you are traveling with children, you must visit Alpaca World located in Pungcheon-ri, Hwachon-myeon. You can touch and feed alpacas playing in the fields, and experience a variety of interactions with the animals. If you want to fully enjoy the fall, go to the Natural Recreation Forest. Garisan Natural Recreation Forest, located at the eastern foot of Mt. Garisan, is a place where beautiful old pine trees and strangely shaped rocks harmonize. You can purify your body and mind with refreshing forest bathing. Sambong Natural Recreation Forest is rich in conifers such as fir and yew, and broad-leaved trees such as Geoje and birch trees.
