Meonguri Gorge Camping Site in Pocheon, Gyeonggi-do, is more attractive for its secluded atmosphere than various convenience facilities. When a car or a tent enters, a suitable camping area is hidden in the forest at the foot of the mountain. If you set up a tent in a place surrounded by tall trees like a folding screen, you will feel as if you are camping alone in an unknown mountain. The use time is from 1:00 pm to noon the next day, and the fee is 40,000 won for the camping area and 90,000 won for the bungalow. The atmosphere of the nearby pigeon nang camping site is quite different. There is a camping area divided like a checkerboard on a site of about 50,000 square meters, and there is no shortage of convenient facilities, including a communal kitchen, toilet, and clean shower room with hot water. It is operated by Pocheon City, so it has the advantage of being inexpensive. The usage time is from 2:00 pm to 11:00 am the next day. The usage fee is 25,000 won on weekdays in the off-season and 30,000 won on weekends and holidays in the off-season and 30,000 won in the peak season (excluding electricity usage fee of 3,000 won). Bidulginang Waterfall (Natural Monument No. 537), which is a 10-minute walk from the Bidulginang Camping Site, is called a ‘living geology textbook’ because of its combination of columnar joints, plate joints, and river caves. Next to Bidulginang Falls is the Hantangang Wildflower Park, which has a size of about 25,000㎡ and beautiful flowers bloom and fall depending on the season. If you climb the Pocheon Hantangang Sky Bridge, a little away from here, you can enjoy the basalt columnar joint gorge along the Hantangang River.
