The Joyanggang River, which meets the Dongnamcheon Stream in Gasa-ri, Jeongseon-eup, forms rapids and streams in various places in the mountain valleys and flows through the river under the name Donggang. The waterway from Gasu-ri to Deokpo-ri, Yeongwol-eup is a total of 51km, and the Donggang River, which flows like a struggle, finally meets the Seogang River where the Pyeongchanggang and Jucheongang confluence to form the Namhan River. There are villages where people live on the quiet Donggang Riverside, and in the land of Jeongseon, there are Jejang Village, Yeonpo Village, Sosa Village, Jeomjae Village, Sudong Village, Hamae Village, and Gyulha Village. Dawn in these villages begins with water fog and mountain fog. At dawn, when you visit riverside villages such as Jejang Village, water mist rises like a lotus flower over the river, and when you look up at the mountain range, clouds hang over the mountainside, creating a magnificent view. Unlike in the past, most of these riverside villages have bridges, so travelers can comfortably soak in the lyricism of riverside villages.
