Direction: 3-day Busan Historical landmarks
Purpose: To explore the cultural heritage sites and significant landmarks of Busan in three days.
Day 1:
9:00 AM: Check-in at the Lotte Hotel Busan. This luxurious hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Busan and is just a 10-minute walk from Seomyeon Subway Station.
10:00 AM: Take a taxi to Haedong Yonggungsa Temple (about 40 minutes journey), which is located on the eastern coast of Busan. This temple is known for its stunning oceanfront location and cliffside views.
12:30 PM: Enjoy lunch at the nearby Balwoo Gongyang, a vegan restaurant that offers healthy vegetarian cuisine.
2:00 PM: Visit the Busan Museum of Art, located in the heart of the city and just a 20-minute taxi ride away. The museum showcases contemporary art as well as highlighting Busan’s cultural heritage.
5:00 PM: Return to the hotel and freshen up for dinner.
7:00 PM: For dinner, head to Jagalchi Market (just a 10-minute taxi ride away) for fresh seafood. There are many stalls and restaurants to choose from, but we recommend Busan Jagalchi Sashimi Alley.
Day 2:
9:00 AM: After breakfast at the hotel, take a subway to Seomyeon Underground Shopping Center. This multi-level shopping center is popular with locals and visitors alike and offers everything from clothing to electronics.
12:00 PM: Enjoy lunch at Gogung Samgyetang. This restaurant is known for its healthy Korean chicken soup, which is said to have medicinal properties.
2:00 PM: Take a taxi to Beomeosa Temple (about 40 minutes journey), a historic Buddhist temple at the base of Geumjeongsan Mountain.
5:00 PM: Return to the hotel and freshen up for dinner.
7:00 PM: For dinner, head to Gukje Market, located right in front of the hotel. This traditional market offers a wide variety of Korean street food and snacks.
Day 3:
9:00 AM: After breakfast at the hotel, take a subway to Taejongdae. Taejongdae is a natural park with beautiful coastal scenery and a lighthouse offering panoramic views of the sea.
12:00 PM: Enjoy lunch at Sumibee, a traditional Korean restaurant that specializes in grilled eel.
2:00 PM: Visit the Busan Tower, located in Yongdusan Park. The tower offers a 360-degree view of Busan.
5:00 PM: Return to the hotel and freshen up for dinner.
7:00 PM: For dinner, head to Haeundae Market, located right in front of Haeundae Beach. This market offers a wide variety of Korean dishes, including spicy seafood noodle soup.
